About 30 years ago, my father realized there were far too many hunters out on the public lands in Colorado and not nearly enough deer. Therefore, he started working closely with land owners in places like Craig, Yampa, Rifle, and Silt to obtain exclusive access to large, private pieces of land where people could hunt in peace. Today, I can arrange a mule deer hunt on one of these ranches where you and a few friends will be able to hunt without having to worry about anyone else being around. Although we do not provide guided tours for hunters, we do provide them with space to stretch out as they hunt and only allow between 4 and 6 hunters on specific parts of leased land at once, thus ensuring that you will not have others hunting around you.
