We have hunted with guides and do-it-yourself hunts on both private property and national forest. We find that the do-it-yourself hunt on private land to be the most fulfilling and productive hunt of all. Colorado Private Ranches is licensed and bonded in the state of Colorado, but we do not outfit or guide. These are non-guided, do-it-yourself type hunts. We will furnish maps and a contact person for each lease. The land owners and I have designated a low number of hunters (4 to 6 per season) on each lease to guarantee a non-crowded hunting environment. The use of ATVs will be permitted and encouraged on all leases. In 2024, the first and fourth season for elk will be a draw. The three seasons for deer, including bow, will be a draw.
