Lease #9 - Griffin Ranch

The Griffin Ranch is located 12 miles south of Craig, then 4 miles west off Highway 13 to the locked gate, in hunting unit 211. At 1678 acres, this property shares a 1.2 mile border with BLM to the south and joins other private land. There is a resident herd of some 250 elk on the property (see video). Approximate elevations 6900-7400 feet. Total property border length is 8 miles. Combination elk and deer hunting. The property is made up of oak brush, buck brush, and aspen. Lodging options in Craig include Wild Skies Cabins or the Hampton Inn or other hotels. Camping on the property is not allowed. For rifle we require five (5) hunters per season at $3,200 per hunter. For archery or muzzleloader we require 3-4 hunters at $2,800 per hunter. GPS coordinates 40.361110, -107.675520.
